Uffington White Horse & Dragon Hill | Dragon Lore Tours

Walk beneath the Uffington White Horse, Europe’s oldest chalk hill figure, over three millennia old and carved in sweeping, stylised lines into the escarpment. Below, Dragon Hill’s bare patch of earth is said to mark where St George slew the dragon and its blood sterilised the soil, layering Christian legend over much older hilltop fire and fertility rites.
