Avebury Stone Circle & Henge

Wander through Avebury, Europe’s largest stone circle, a 4,500-year-old ritual complex that wraps a living village in ditches, banks and great sarsen stones weighing up to 30 tons. Linked to Silbury Hill and processional avenues like West Kennet Avenue, the site was partly restored in the 20th century and still pulses with the energies that drew Neolithic pilgrims here.
