The tour guide Arjun is a lovely, knowledgeable and very chatty person to be on a tour with. We were five people only and had the time of our lives by getting to know many parts of London and stories you wouldn't get otherwise. Arjun chatted with us on whatever came to our mind between the sights and we had such great talks about a plethora of things. We booked a private tour after our friend recommended Arjun, but we asked him for a mix of historical and mystical (bespoke tour), and he delivered! The information he shared was intriguing and interesting to both our children (11 and 15) and us adults. Arjun is a truly gifted guide and a lovely human being as well. He was very accommodating, flexible and generous with his time and knowledge! We would love to catch up with him again in London or any of the other locations he explores! More reviewsWe had an absolutely wonderful day touring Avebury and Salisbury with Arjun from Dragon Lore Tours. It was one of the highlights of our trip to England.
Arjun is exceptionally knowledgeable, but what really sets him apart is his genuine passion for England, its history, politics, culture, and the legacy of the British Empire. He has an incredible ability to weave together thousands of years of history into engaging stories that make every stop come alive. Whether we were standing among the stones at Avebury or exploring the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral, he provided fascinating context that you simply wouldn’t get from a guidebook.
He was thoughtful, personable, and happy to answer our endless questions, adapting the conversation to our interests while making the day feel relaxed rather than rushed. His enthusiasm is infectious, and it’s clear he truly loves sharing his country with visitors.
If you’re looking for a guide who combines deep historical knowledge with engaging storytelling and genuine warmth, I cannot recommend Arjun highly enough. I was looking for an experience of the Wiltshire stone circles that went beyond the usual tourist-style visits. I found that and far more from Arjun, who is not only learned and well researched, but also carries his own lived experience of decades of interacting with these sacred sites. His connection is heartfelt, embodied, and rooted in years of direct communion with the land. Arjun is a patient, calm, and kind guide who created an atmosphere where I could sink into the energy of each place without feeling rushed.
