Travel into the mysterious heart of Southern France on a three-day pilgrimage through the sacred landscapes of the Aude and Ariège. Explore the enduring traditions surrounding Mary Magdalene, the Cathars, the Knights Templar and the Divine Feminine as you visit healing waters, medieval villages, mountain castles, caves and springs.
This intimate journey weaves together documented history, local folklore and esoteric tradition. From the mysteries of Rennes-le-Château and the thermal waters of Rennes-les-Bains to Puivert’s troubadour castle, the living rhythm of Fontestorbes Fountain and the Cathar memory of Montségur, each place offers space for reflection, story and personal connection.

Stories of dragons, romans, ancient trees; a phoenix here and a magician there. Ancient religions, the occult and building blocks of civilisations. Every step took us through mythology, etymology and history and all with a glint in the eye and humour that matched ours. Deeply, hugely enjoyable. Arjun is exceptionally knowledgeable, but what really sets him apart is his genuine passion for England, its history, politics, culture, and the legacy of the British Empire. He has an incredible ability to weave together thousands of years of history into engaging stories that make every stop come alive. Whether we were standing among the stones at Avebury or exploring the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral, he provided fascinating context that you simply wouldn’t get from a guidebook.
He was thoughtful, personable, and happy to answer our endless questions, adapting the conversation to our interests while making the day feel relaxed rather than rushed. His enthusiasm is infectious, and it’s clear he truly loves sharing his country with visitors.
If you’re looking for a guide who combines deep historical knowledge with engaging storytelling and genuine warmth, I cannot recommend Arjun highly enough. We left with a much richer understanding of England and some fantastic memories.
