Arjun is exceptionally knowledgeable, but what really sets him apart is how he structures the experience. Rather than just pointing out sites, he weaves a cohesive narrative that charts the origin story of the City of London, from its early roots through its rise as the financial capital of the world.
What made the experience especially memorable was how personal he made it. He took the time to understand my interests and background and tailored parts of the tour to align with them, which made everything feel much more engaging and relevant. He also provided a comprehensive PDF guide afterward, which was an unexpected bonus. It neatly recaps the places we visited and the broader historical narrative.
On top of all that, Arjun is incredibly personable and kind; just a genuinely great person to spend a few hours with.
Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting London. Arjun is exceptionally knowledgeable, but what really sets him apart is his genuine passion for England, its history, politics, culture, and the legacy of the British Empire. He has an incredible ability to weave together thousands of years of history into engaging stories that make every stop come alive. Whether we were standing among the stones at Avebury or exploring the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral, he provided fascinating context that you simply wouldn’t get from a guidebook.
He was thoughtful, personable, and happy to answer our endless questions, adapting the conversation to our interests while making the day feel relaxed rather than rushed. His enthusiasm is infectious, and it’s clear he truly loves sharing his country with visitors.
